Seven Swans, 2000

In Collaboration with Marc Lepson

In the spirit of retelling and reinterpretation of folk tales between generations, we have placed ourselves in the role of the sister in the Hans Christian Anderson story of the Seven Swans. We took her place in the making of objects and images for the transformation of place, ourselves and those around us. The portraits of people, places and swans are part of our search for connections. The sense of longing that is embodied in the story of the Seven Swans permeates our everyday experience, our love for each other and the friendships we share.
