A Little Bird Told Me, 2000 – 2002
A series of self portraits and portraits of women, Mixed media wall size mural/collage And fabric hedge forms that controlled viewers movements in the exhibition space. The images from this series imply a psychological narrative and a sense of femininity and nature slightly out of control. These images were inspired by fairy tales, a fire that destroyed my apartment, seasonal changes and my female friendships.
